Printable Thank You Cards

Hi Guys I constantly struggle with getting thank you cards.  I am so grateful to so many, but I always fall short.  My kids are getting to an age where I want them to appreciate when someone does something for them.  I am trying to instill in them to always have a grateful heart, so with that I made these super simple thank you cards. All you have to do is print them on some card stock, cut out and fill them out, pretty simple.  Your kids can write as much or little as you desire.  I tried to make them small enough to fit into a 5x7 envelope but you can always fold them up and stick them in a smaller envelope.
Let me know what you think, or if they need any tweaking
Here is the actual file
Hope you enjoy!

fun friday #3

not as fun as the others but might be helpful to us new moms, or new wives...

  • what is your secret trick to cleaning the house?
  • what is your favorite household cleaning product?
mine is a 2 for 1...
Fantastik all purpose cleaner...i use it on my counter tops, stove, mirrors, windows, you name it. It dos the trick when someone says they are on their way over, especially our best friends mike & kristin, when they call 10 minutes from the house! the one thing i absolutely do every few hours is wipe off my kitchen counter, i am not sure why i am so obsessive about it??!! Fantastik, is great, and it isn't nearly as expensive as the other brands!

kind of boring ladies, sorry!

Long ago we were taught to "clean" for your family and straighten up for company...yeah I never quite got there myself...pressure! its why I clean..someone is coming CLEAN! CLEAN! CLEAN!
I love the meleluca products Tough & tender on hard surfaces/Solumel on fabrics! Top two home improvers: clean the bathroom, and make your bed.

My trick for cleaning the house is one room a day. I straighten up everyday, but deep clean one room per week. My favorite cleaner is an all purpose cleaner from Trader Joes. It is cheap and works really well and bonus there are no harmful chemicals!!!!

Nina, Nina, Nina, thinking about CLEANING is NOT fun!!!! : /

OK, so in all seriousness, cleaning the house CAN be fun. Tricks that I use to make cleaning FUN:

~ turn putting things away into a game with Kaylee. She will get either a backpack or a laundry basket and I will pack it up and she will pretend she is a mailman making deliveries.

~ folding towels - I used to do this with my cat, but now with Kaylee. She will sit in the laundry basket and try to prevent me from taking towels out to fold them, like tug-of-war (don't try this with your delicates!)

~ vacuuming - Kaylee pretends she is a cat and afraid of the vacuum and I chase her around the house (simular concept while mowing the lawn).

~ steam cleaning carpet - Kaylee & I pretend we are explorers trying to find artifacts (we are actually discovering carpet stains that need to be spot treated and steamed).

~ boss/worker: Kaylee likes to pretend I'm the boss and she's the worker and I tell her what to do (I'm quite fond of this game ; ). She always says, "Are you going to fire me?" & "How am I doing boss?"

~ clearing the table - Kaylee pretends she is a waitress

~ and when I'm cleaning at home alone, my favorite way to make it fun is to have music blaring and if you peer in my windows you might just catch me singing and probably dancing too! : D

So MY favorite cleaning product: IMAGINATION

I 100% agree with you on Fantastic! I use it on everything! It's even grat on getting stains out of carpet, fabric, upholstry,etc...I don't really have a trick for cleaning the house, but once in awhile my mom offers to come over and either help clean or watch the kids while I do it! Those are my fave days so I guess I could call her my trick!

I go back and forth with my favorites. BUT I have a new favorite trick, compliments of 3 little boys finding a sharpie marker. Who KNOWS where they found it, but they wrote all over our wood dining room table (dark wood) and wood laundry room door (white).

Put toothpaste on a cloth, pour rubbing alcohol over it, and rub on. It takes it RIGHT OFF! It even took it off their skin.

Lysol wipes & borderline OCD...(the house stays pretty clean if you wipe the counters and tables every time you go near them!!!)

Ok..well, here's the actual method I use:

- Do a 5-minute tidy in the morning (make bed, wipe down bathroom, dust living room tables)

-Do a 5-minute straighten before bed (make sure any lingering toys, dishes, ect... are put away)

-Everything stays clean in between morning and night because I clean as I go (ex: put dishes in dishwasher after eating, dirty clothes in hamper, ect...) and I use LOTS of lysol wipes!!!

- Then, I do a "good clean" once a week

-Every once in a while, I tackle a big project (the fridge, under the bed, ect...) so those things don't pile up for spring cleaning!
well here is how to clean your house in 19 minutes a add another 60 minutes if you have husbands or children so that you can pick up everything that they leave in the path!

I REALLY love cleaning, and just wish I had more time to do it. My fav tips:

*I have to start from the INSIDE out -- it drives me NUTS if my cupboards aren't organized before I start cleaning, because as I put things away I end up organizing them anyways!

*I love the smell of Pine Sol so I pour some into my toilet brush containers and it smells like the job is 1/2 way done already!

*I have stainless steel (probably a mistake with the traffic my house gets), and I am CONSTANTLY cleaning my appliances.

*I keep cleaning products in each bathroom, and clean anything that needs it when I go in them.

*I used to use scrubbing my floor as the time to connect with a friend with a headphone-type phone.

*I love vacuuming for some reason because the results are so obvious.

Fav cleaning product is my stainless steel cleaners!

I aggree with Lori. John is my best cleaning tip. I just came back for the women's weekend to find that John had cleaned the bathroom, vaccumned the house and cleaned and put way the dishes. What more could I want. I didn't even ask him to do it!

in the dorms last year they used to have a monthly checkup to make sure we were keeping our rooms clean. i often procrastinated til the day before, so i would call over my girlfriends sometimes and tell them they could pick one thing out of my wardrobe to wear that weekend if they helped me clean my room! it was fun and it would always turn into a girls night afterwards!! my favorite thing to use while cleaning are antibacterial wipes, but my key tool is persuassion :) sometimes if you have a deadline you have to think outside the box!!

My comment is a little late, but I just joined the whole blogging world...First, I must is ALWAYS Michael's idea to ask you to babysit that hour, invite himself over or just show up without any notice! Gotta love him! :o) that we have an understanding...I prefer to not clean the house at all! Of course, I do, but thankfully our condo is tiny, so in a matter of minutes the floors can be swept, the counters wiped off and I pretty much keep it straightened up...subject to change once Kate starts to crawl.
